Thrift Finds Come Home

Earlier this week I posted on all the treasures found at a sweet little thrift store during our week on the Eastern shore. Luckily I was able to resist buying everything so the entire house doesn’t look like an antique shop! Here’s what made the cut.

I really loved the unusual shape of this dish – everything we own is round, so this adds some interest. I also loved the sweet dotted border. Looks just like Pottery Barn’s pattern, but it only cost $1.99!

How great is this crate? There were some Coca-Cola crates as well but I chose this one because Royal Crown was different. I also loved the custom dividers. Now I just have to figure out how to clean it out. Any suggestions for what to store/display in it?

We were gifted the two large oyster cans from this same store, so we picked up the little one (marked Mount Vernon, MD) to add to our display. I love the colors on these cans and how they are beachy but different. As much as I love Pottery Barn (seriously, how many times can I mention them in one post?) I want our home to look unique and personal as well. These cans remind us of fond memories. Living and vacationing on the East coast = seafood. Yum.

So that’s our thrifting experience. Has anyone found anything good while thrifting recently? I’ll keep you posted on how we use everything and where our new buys find a home!
